Small Stream Rods

While glass is the ideal material for small stream rods, these specialized rods under 7’ are the absolute toughest to design. The trick is to make these short rods that will load quickly, have sufficient power, and most importantly have good line feel while casting. This is accomplished with complex mandrel tapers and patterns cuts. Ive been on a quest for the past decade to make short rods that are exceptional performers and I’m proud to offer these rods to the serious small stream fly fisher.
